For day trips or longer to France or Belgium from Dover to Calais, we usually go through The Channel Tunnel which is  usually the quickest way to France and best if you don’t want to brave the waves!  This is also the best way if you want to take your dog although this does require some advance planning with dog passport etc.  Alternatively, the ferry crossing is a little longer but is an interesting trip.

For trips to London by train, we are on the Charing Cross to Hastings line.   Battle or Robertsbridge Stations if you are staying in Sedlescombe at the Stables and Tunbridge Wells if you are at Sawmill Cottage.
